Regions Hospital is looking for a highly motivated clinical oncology pharmacist to provide dispensing services and pharmaceutical care to patients in our Cancer Center and inpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have completed a PGY1 with significant oncology exposure or a PGY2 residency in oncology. Business needs are mostly for the day shift at this time, but patient care needs may require an occasional evening shift. A weekend rotation will be included.

Pharmacists at Regions Hospital provide professional pharmaceutical services by: rounding with patient care teams, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information and education to healthcare providers and patients/families, precepting pharmacy students and residents, reviewing medication orders, dispensing medications and related supplies, overseeing the work of direct support personnel, and participating in quality and safety improvement projects.

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a PharmD or BS pharmacy degree.
Current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Minnesota.
At least one of the following:
Completion of a Post-Doctorate Pharmacy Program (i.e. residency or fellowship such as a PGY1 or PGY2 ASHP accredited pharmacy program) – OR,
Two or more years of current work experience in Oncology.
Three or more years of current work experience in oncology with direct patient care responsibility
Board certification in oncology (BCOP)
Experience in research and investigation medications
