Pharmacist PRN (Bedford Pharmacy)

Role Summary:

  • Staff pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapy, and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibilities. Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.

Basic Qualifications

Graduate of an approved discipline specific program (or equivalent experience) : an accredited School of Pharmacy and Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) Pharmacy

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR):

  • Licensed Pharmacist Required

Additional Qualification Information:

  • Health-system experience preferred, but not required. Residency preferred, but not required.
