Responsibilities

As a Humana pharmacist, your practice can take on many roles. We have exciting career opportunities in several areas, including Clinical Services. As a pharmacist on the Clinical Services team, you will practice pharmacy as though you are at a virtual pharmacy counter. This is a Clinical call center environment. Tasks include:

  • Interact with Humana Pharmacy patients via the telephone.

  • Provide counseling and advice.

  • Research patient concerns.

  • Facilitate positive service and pharmaceutical outcomes.

  • Starting shift available:

  • 8 hour shift, M-F 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Central Standard Time

  • Every 4th Saturday, Closed Sunday

Required Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

  • Licensed as a PHARMACIST in Texas.

  • Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.

  • Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group.

  • Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving.

  • Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficient with computers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment.
