Pharmacist Informatics

The Informatics Pharmacist is primarily responsible with formulary management; computerized physician order entry(CPOE)process improvement to reduce the likelihood of medication errors; review and programming of standard order sets; development of drug usage policy programs, and implementation of pharmacy-related functionality in the EMR. The Informatics Pharmacist serves as a liaison between informatics and clinical and operational pharmacy services. Also, collaboration with Oncology pharmacists on Beacon Support as needed.

nThe ideal candidate would be Epic Willow certified with at least one year experience supporting a hospital system. n

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education:

Required: Bachelors Degree

Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Specify Degree(s): Pharmacy

Residency: Pharmacy Practice - General (Preferred)

Minimum Experience:

Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience

Details: Preferred hospital pharmacy experience and knowledge of health information systems.
