JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Clinical Outcomes Pharmacist's main duty is to provide clinical expertise and oversight to Lumicera Clinical Programs and Manufacturer Programs, and ensure optimal patient health outcomes. Pharmacists in this role will be part of Lumicera's Clinical Pharmacovigilance team and will be designated Program Managers for our Manufacturer programs. This role will perform telephonic consultations with patients regarding the use of their specialty medication and management of their disease state. The Clinical Outcomes Pharmacist will routinely perform medication reconciliation and screen for potential drug interactions to ensure medication safety. This individual will focus on ensuring positive clinical patient outcomes and will use this outcomes data to provide meaningful research opportunities to the company. The Clinical Outcomes Pharmacist may also train less experienced pharmacists and mentor pharmacy interns/students. Ancillary tasks for the Clinical Outcomes Pharmacist will be to interpret physicians' prescriptions and to contact providers, pharmacies, and/or patients as needed to verify information on prescriptions and expedite processing of orders. This individual may take calls from customers regarding issues, lost orders or dispensing errors, maintain daily production, quality and service levels, and vary work priorities and activities to accommodate business needs. This position may also be responsible for dispensing medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines to accommodate business needs. The Clinical Outcomes Pharmacist solves complex problems and takes a new perspective using existing solutions. The individual in this position works independently and receives minimal guidance with frequent inter-organizational and outside contacts. Essential Functions: Oversee the management and compliance of various Clinical Manufacturer Programs. Able to produce, perform and maintain clinical program materials and services. Including, but not limited to development of clinical pathways, limited distribution strategies and addition of evidence based practice materials. Conducts process improvement and generates ideas to further the development of clinical, client, and manufacturer programs around specialty medications. Analyzes clinical patient outcomes in attempt to provide meaningful research opportunities to the organization and manufacturers. Ability to provide operational education and documentation to teams on process updates as it relates to implementation of manufacturer programs.
