  • Job Responsibility

  • Maintain a neat and sterile work environment. Complete Data Verification (DV) and Product Verification (PV) of prescriptions, canisters, and manual fill products. Complete Drug Utilization Review (DUR), incoming/outgoing prescription transfers, and problem solve any orders/issues in Third Party (TP), Exception Queue, robot verification fails, unclear images, and orders stuck in problem status. Communicate with and counsel patient over the phone, through virtual sessions and/or in person when necessary.

  • Act as a team with healthcare professionals (i.e. physicians, nurses, third party payers, etc.) and our internal retail colleagues to optimize patient care by obtaining new prescription orders, refills, clarifications including progress notes, diagnosis codes, and clinical markers.

  • Assist the Team Leader with directing, educating, and executing Medication Therapy Management (MTM) for the company. Address adherence and omission gaps while reiterating the clinical significance of being compliant on medications. Schedule and perform follow-up adherence calls for continued patient compliance. Provide documentation, following company policy, for proof of professional due diligence, to ensure proper reimbursement, patient safety, and to provide a seamless management of patients amongst all team members.

  • Perform all duties and attend required training necessary for professional license, compliance with Company policy(s), and patient safety including but not limited to incident reporting, investigational follow-up, quality related event learning (QREL), Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) meetings, computer-based trainings (CBT), and immunization/cardiac pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) trainings. Follow all Company, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations and procedures including HIPAA guidelines and the protection of personal health information (PHI).

  • Maintain production metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and operational goals.

  • Assist, foster, and educate technicians in all aspects of their scope of work to provide an optimal team and patient experience, which includes proper delegation of work assignments, efficient work flow, use of supplies and equipment, and when necessary, action plans to improve outcomes.

  • Perform additional duties as required and assigned to meet all company goals.
