Salud Family Health Centers Pharmacist Technician - Floating in Fort Lupton, Colorado
We're seeking a Full-Time, Floating Pharmacy Technician who would be basedin Fort Lupton and be able to travel to our other Pharmacies located inBrighton, Commerce City, Longmont, and Fort Collins, based on whereassistance is needed.Your job will be to assist the Pharmacist in dispensing medication tocustomers and patients according to prescribed methods. The PharmacyTechnician approaches his/her tasks in a team-based care fashion thatsupports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy,and behavior change. A positive attitude with modern medicine brings joy to the healingjourney.QualificationsWhat you need to be qualified for this job:Computer skills required include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook foremail, basic Internet knowledge, and multi-line phone experience.Bilingual English/Spanish requiredA background check will be required.Education:Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.Experience:One year general pharmacy experience desired.Certification:Pharmacy Technicians must obtain a certification or provisional certificationfrom the State Board of Pharmacy (Board).It is a job requirement that applicants/new hires comply with thisregulation and receive this certification or provisional certification fromthe State Board of Pharmacy (Board) prior to their start date.If granted a provisional certification, the employee must pass their CPHTexamination in the time frame required by the State Board of Pharmacy.(18months), or be granted an extension by the State Board allowing themto maintain their provisional licensure. Valid and current licensure by thestate must be maintained to ensure continued employment.
