This position can be located at any of our major Specialty Mail Order hubs (Raleigh NC, Tampa FL, Orlando FL, Fairfield NJ, Pittsburgh PA, Mount Prospect IL, Flower Mound TX, Lenexa KS, Phoenix AZ, Redlands CA)CVS Specialty Pharmacy has an exciting opportunity for a Operations Manager - Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy (Pharmacist) to join our Back End Pharmacy Operations team. As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing a 24 hour operation in the areas of prescription fulfillment, quality control and shipping to ensure that patient deadlines are met to achieve exceptional customer service and business profitability in a growing specialty pharmacy. This role will be responsible for multiple locations. Must have superb management and business process skills to direct the leadership team as well as the professional and production staff. Collaborates with other functional areas to support operational, financial, and sales, objectives of the specialty pharmacy services group as it relates to day-to-day pharmacy operations and must have a track record of effective high-level communication to teams and customers - internal and external. -Collaborates with materials management to ensure that an adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment are available to meet customer needs and meet company inventory and purchasing goals. - Ensure processes and systems are managed to meet our performance guarantee’s. - Ensure efficient “throughput“ of work within the filling, quality control and shipping areas. - Facilitate communication for problem resolution and changes occurring in the organization that may impact the work flow of the Pharmacy and Fulfillment areas. - Oversees compliance with State and Federal regulations for designated teams. - Communicate major changes within Fulfillment to other affected departments. Required Qualifications

3+ years management experience. Current Pharmacy License in one or more statesWillingness to obtain additional out of state pharmacy licenses. 1+ years Automation fulfillment experience Ability to travel 30-50% • Excellent data analysis/ technical skills including Pharmacy systems, Microsoft office, i.e. Excel, Power Point, and Word• Strong communication, verbal and written, and ability to influence and drive desired behaviors• Demonstrated ability to create a project plan, manage it, and implement it to achieve the desired results • Demonstrated ability to determine key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives• Ability to interact with all levels of employees and get results • Ability to deliver effective training, assess skills levels and provide candid and targeted feedback

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong operational knowledge in PBM, Specialty or Pharmacy Industry.• Knowledge of Pharmacy Regulations.• Prefer prior mail order or specialty experience• Prefer familiarity of CVS/Caremark processes and procedures• Knowledge of Specialty business and practice with proven ability to understand and translate strategy into operational decisions


Bachelors/Master or Doctorate degree required.
