Clinical Pharmacist -Texas Health Denton

Position Highlights

  • Salary range: $53.50- $79.75 (based on relevant experience)

Our central location provides convenient care to people in the DFW Metroplex and all across North Texas and Oklahoma. With more than 1,000 employees and 450+ physicians on our medical staff we are one of Denton County’s largest employers.

Education

Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Required

Or

Other Pharm.D. Required

And

Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required

Experience

3 Years hospital experience or residency Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

PHAR - Pharmacist Upon Hire Required

Skills

Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills, computer proficient and possess basic math skills.

Job Duties

Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.

Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.

Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.

Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's QA and PS standards programs and initiatives is also required.

Ongoing professional development and growth.

Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.

Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.

Other duties as assigned.
