This job was posted by https://idahoworks.gov : For more information, please see: https://idahoworks.gov/jobs/1577588 &&Clinical Pharmacist Client Manager&&&br&&b&Remote only within (ID, OR, UT, WA) - Travel Required&/b&&br&&br&The Clinical Pharmacist Client Manager is responsible for providing clinical guidance, reporting, program recommendations and benefit strategies in support of the Pharmacy Sales and Account Management goals. Works in collaboration with the Pharmacy Sales and Account Management team. Identifies, leads, and measures the impact of pharmacy program opportunities that impact client cost, utilization, and quality metrics. Synthesizes client utilization data, benefit designs, employee value proposition goals, and pharmacy clinical programs and provides client specific recommendations to improve pharmacy program performance. Provides professional and clinical expertise for Pharmacy clients in making clinical decisions based on best practices in applying evidence based medicine evaluations to determine the best quality medication choices that represent the best value in efficacy and safety. Assists the Pharmacy Sales and Account Management Team in planning, developing, and implementing clinical strategies for Pharmacy clients with respect to formulary management, drug utilization management, medication therapy management programs, quality initiatives and drug information and education.&br&&br&&&Responsibilities&&&ul&&li&Responsible for developing and maintaining clinical client-business relationships. &/li&&li&Identify and assist in the development of new products and services specific to ASO groups.&/li&&li&Develop clinical content for presentations to inform potential or existing clients about Pharmacy Services products or services. &/li&&li&Provide clinical support to ensure that clients are satisfied with the company at all times and will bring in repeated business by resolving any outstanding issues. &/li&&li&Provide clinical pharmacy consultation in support of the development of a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the presence of Pharmacy Services.&/li&&li&Provide creative thinking and leadership in accomplishing goals of quality improvement and cost-effective prescription drug programs.&/li&&li&Collects, analyze, interprets, and forecasts health care cost information based on current prescribing patterns based on medication utilization reports.&/li&&li&Presents and/or communicates clinical positions on medication analysis in clear, concise manner to Pharmacy clients. &/li&&li&Supports the development of educational materials and correspondences to members to inform them about medication coverage choices, comparative effectiveness, and coverage determinations.&/li&&li&Provides consultative expertise from the field to internal and external decision-making bodies such as the Regence Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and Medication Policy Group regarding formulary and medication coverage policy considerations.&/li&&li&Participates in providing effective clinical support to Pharmacy clients that include members, medical directors, account representatives, case managers, customer services, appeals/grievance panels, and external providers.&/li&&li&Provide clinical context for coverage recommendations for medications subject to prior authorization, appeals, retrospective claim reviews, and audits based on applicable medication coverage policies, member benefit contracts, and provider contracts.&/li&&/ul&&&Requirements&&&ul&&li&Demonstrated ability to meet target client reporting clinical reporting goals on a quarterly basis, provide excellent customer service, build long-term relationships, and work in a team-oriented environment.&/li&&li&Strong knowledge and understanding of the pharmacy benefit management industry, benefit design, pharmacy products and services, and knowledge of competitive offerings, as well as the needs of clients. &/li&&li&Demonstrated strong clinical knowledge and understanding of practical application of evidence-based medicine principles to formulary design, medication coverage policies, and other medication management solutions.&/li&&li&Ability to interpret complex clinical information, claims data and regulatory requirements to deliver practical business solutions to clients as needed.&/li&&li&Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions for existing clients, as well as pursue new clientele opportunities.&/li&&li&Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively present to both clients and management.&/li&&li&Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to effectively manage projects and client relationships and expectations.&/li&&li&Strong clinical pharmacy background with ability to demonstrate clinical therapy skills and knowledge in a clinical care setting.&/li&&li&Demonstrated success in managing professional relationships in a managed care system, medical group, hospital, or related organizations.&/li&&li&Strong knowledge of prepaid health care economics and financing; pharmaceutical/healthcare industry dynamics, and provider contracting strategies, techniques, and processes.&/li&&li&Strong knowledge of health care economics and financing; health careharmaceutical ind
