Ranked as one ofFortune magazine's "Most Admired Healthcare Company" for 8 years,Kindred welcomes you to join our team and build a career that touches lives.As Pharmacist you will:Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy and according to standard procedurecompounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies up receivingwritten prescriptions from the physician.Participates on Performance Improvement plans within the hospital.Consults with and advises Administration, Medical Staff and hospital staffon quality, regulatory and risk issues within the organization.Supports and serves as consultant to all clinical and Medical Staff.Assists the Director in coordinating and implementing the activities of thePharmacy.Interprets medication orders, compounds and dispenses medication and otherpharmaceutical preparations in accordance with the legal, ethical andprofessional standards of pharmacy practice.Supervises the technical support staff.Assists with clinical, quality management and education programs.Provides support for all departments with respect to the care of all patientsaged 18 through the geriatric population ages 65 and older.Clinical duties include renal dosing, drug regimen review, antibiotic &anticoagulant monitoring.Pharmacist, Pharm D, hospital pharmacy, LTAC, Transitional Care, Acute CareQualificationsAs a Pharmacist you will have:Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with Pharmacist degree.Current state license in good standingMinimum of three (3) months of experience in HOSPITAL pharmacy.Pharm D or residency preferred.Working knowledge of OSHA, JCAHO, HCFA and state guidelines.Experience in facilitating teams.Experience in writing policies and procedures.If you are a current Kindred/RehabCare employee .Job:PharmacyPrimary Location:CO-Aurora-Kindred Hospital - AuroraOrganization:4853 - Kindred Hospital - AuroraShift:DayEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
