Mission Health Medication Safety Pharmacist in Asheville, North Carolina

The Facility Medication Safety Pharmacist is responsible for the medication safety and quality activities at the facility; duties include but are not limited to: standardization of medication management practices, ensure regulatory compliance, implementing national quality agenda related to medication management, development of medication safety programs, and staff development/education. Provides support for all medication management and quality initiatives at the facility and those impacted by centralized order entry.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, or PharmD Degree.

Preferred Education: Master's Degree; graduate of an accredited pharmacy residency program

Required License: Must have and maintain current Pharmacist license with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP) or eligible to become licensed in North Carolina within 60 days of hire date.

Required Experience: Three years of hospital experience or completion of pharmacy residency training.

Preferred Experience: Completion of pharmacy residency training.
